Incredibly friendly and attentive staff, delicious food with fresh products, beautiful cabanas and restaurants, stunning views from the room, helpful and caring staff, quiet location away from busy San Pedro.

We had a wonderful and unique experience at this 4-star hotel. From the moment we arrived via boat, we were greeted with a refreshing cocktail in the lobby. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our stay was perfect in every way. They provided us with valuable recommendations for exploring the local spots, such as the amazing Sundeck just a short walk away. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and attention was given to every detail. We also appreciated the range of amenities available, including room service, car hire, and laundry services. The location of this place was ideal, offering a quiet and private atmosphere away from the bustling city.

The resort provides a beautiful view of the ocean. The location is secluded, which adds to its charm. Some rooms have a magnificent view of the birds and sea creatures. The staff is attentive and courteous in service, going out of their way to ensure utmost comfort and care. The food at the restaurant is fresh and delicious.

The room rental appears to be on the upper side of the price range.

Our Easter stay was amazing! The hotel had complimentary water activities and the pool was fantastic. The view from our room was breathtaking, and the staff were so friendly and hospitable. We loved the secluded location which offered a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby town, yet still within easy reach if you wanted to venture out. The inclusive bug spray and mosquito nets provided in our room were very useful.

The prices charged for food and drinks were quite high, which made it tough to spend more than what we already paid to enjoy our stay. although breakfast was included, it consisted of a limited choice of coffee and offerings and not including eggs.

The weekend experience was amazing. The location was perfect - far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to do everything we wanted. The warm welcome we received upon arrival made us feel right at home. We loved the beautifully decorated rooms and the delicious food. Refills on the cold drinks were always a plus, especially on hot days.

Although some of the prices for food and drink were quite high, we found them to be reasonable given the location. However, on some occasions there was no selection of drinks offered, only tea or coffee.

We had an incredible time at this hotel. The location on the sea was absolutely stunning and the hotel facilities were top-notch. Everything was spotless and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We loved the complimentary water activities, as well as the different excursions that were available. The breakfast was delicious and had a great selection. We also appreciated the attention to detail and all the amenities that were available for us.

The staff at Matachica Beach Resort And Spa were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations for the best local spots. We loved their suggestion to try Sundeck, a local spot just a short walk away, where the Mayan and jerk fish were absolutely amazing. The attention to detail at the resort was also impressive, with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The clean rooms, delicious food, and beautiful amenities all contributed to a truly enjoyable experience. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.
